We’re so pleased to announce that JOYFULTALK has joined the incredible roster of artists at Constellation Records, who will release the band’s sophomore album later this year.

The brainchild of instrument builder and jazz-fried alchemist Jay Crocker, JOYFULTALK offer up new concepts on regionalism and conjure micro-climate trance music. Admittedly influenced by the craggy treelines and flowing rivers of Lunenburg county, Crocker and multi-instrumentalist Shawn Dicey’s gnarled jamscapes render natural spaces in a hazy parallel universe.

Constellation is a Canadian independent record label based in Montreal, founded in 1997, and home to artists like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Do Make Say Think, Esmerine, and many more. Their roster is unique in both its composition and spirit, with artists hailing from the Anglo, Francophone, and immigrant communities alike, and defining a kind of adventurous music.
