The Olympic Symphonium is a unique collaboration between three accomplished Maritime musicians. With the hopes of forming a quiet escape from their accustomed high-energy rock projects, the idea of this group was to focus more on the subtle, gentler side of music. The concept of creating a softer more intimate group of songs is not only exciting to the group, but will be a welcomed change to the dedicated listeners of these musicians.
Over the past year, the band has earned airplay on CBC as well as many campus radio stations and shared the stage with artists such as Jason Collett, Al Tuck, Jenn Grant. The Olympic Symphonium is currently finishing work on 2 separate albums, one of which will be released in winter 2007.
