The Olympic Symphonium go to the Olympics, record new album & play shows in East Coast
——————————————————————————————-
A dream that wasn’t even on our wish-list has come true. We’re heading to Vancouver in February to play at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games! We’ll be at the Atlantic Canada House on Granville Island alongside artists like Rose Cousins, David Myles and other East Coast friends. Aside from performing we’ll also be competing in the Bobsled so please vote for us.
We also just finished recording material for our third album. This is incredibly exciting for us and we’re extremely happy with the way it turned out. There’s still a lot of work to be done but look for this in late summer or early fall.

The Slate Pacific: Recording + Remix Project Volume 1
————————————————————————–
The Slate Pacific’s debut EP ‘Safe Passage” was released April 2009. With a 2 song EP in the works and a full length gleeming in the future of 2010, The Slate Pacific wanted to be able to offer something to everyone while the band works away at the material for their new record. Thus, The Safe Passage Remix EP was born. 5 songs all remixed by friends and peers from around New Brunswick. Here is a little taste of what we will be releasing in February:
