In the summer of 2012, Lauren retreated to the legendary House of Miracles studio with engineer Andy Magoffin (Feist, The Constantines, Two-Minute Miracles) and producer Justin Nace (Great Lake Swimmers, Tusks) to record her new album, On Personhood.

With a band consisting of multi-instrumentalist J.J. Ipsen, guitarist Justin Nace, and drummer Marshall Bureau, Lauren recorded the album’s six tracks live in the studio after five days of focused rehearsing and collaboration. The end result is a collection of masterfully arranged and dynamically performed rock songs that echo the session’s creative and communal environment.

The album is now available for pre-order in the shop and you can listen to the first single Trouble on our streaming sites.

“On Personhood webs a variety of silky and edgy textures to Lauren’s fragile vocal confidence. Warm guitar tones, brooding melodies and remarkable tenor are the cornerstones of Lauren’s sound. – Exclaim!
