Go On is the long-awaited new single from Paper Beat Scissors: Nova Scotia’s Brit-in-Residence Tim Crabtree.The mellow, orchestral-tinged piece features percussion arrangements from Clogs’ Thomas Kozumplik (also known for his work with the National), as well as clarinets from Crabtree himself.
The single is the first follow-up to the eponymous debut album which drew international plaudits from the likes of BBC‘s ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris and Rolling Stone Germany.Crabtree says the song “…is about giving yourself some leeway. Trying to stop beating yourself up about stuff that’s long gone that you have no power to change.”
