We’ve been big fans of Tim Crabtree’s work as Paper Beat Scissors for a while now. I can remember seeing his band back in 2009 and being absolutely blown away by the control and originality of the music. Being a fan, it was an easy decision to release the record once Tim was looking for a Canadian label and we’re happy to welcome him into the Forward family.

The self-titled debut was produced by Mike Feuerstack (Snailhouse), mixed by Jeremy Gara (Arcade Fire) and will be released March 06th on LP/CD/MP3. The first single ‘Rest Your Bones’ is available for listening here. Pre-orders are now available at a discount price and will come with an immediate download of the single.

Currently, Paper Beat Scissors is touring Europe and will be performing release shows across Canada in February/March/April so stay tuned for details.
