Under the moniker Paper Beat Scissors Tim Crabtree stitches delicate and intricate tapestries of songs threaded through by an unmistakable haunting voice. Over 3 albums the Montréal-based Brit has worked with members of Arcade Fire, featured on the cover CD of Rolling Stone and been labelled "startling and beautiful" by legendary BBC Radio DJ "Whispering" Bob Harris. 2021 saw the release of his first collection of songs in a second language - the Spanish album "la Mitad".

In September 2019, England-born, Montreal-based musician Tim Crabtree released the tender and beautifully orchestrated indie folk album Parallel Line under his Paper Beat Scissors moniker. Parallel Line explored the fragility, complexity and fundamental importance of human connection, a theme that has obviously taken on more and more resonance in the past year as we all grapple with our unexpected isolation. Now he’s releasing a selection of those songs, this time translated into Spanish.
